Vendor overview

Attention Craft & Commercial Exhibitors

In addition to the balloons, live music, carnival fun center, Festival of Cars, Premiere Youth Soccer Tournament, and the Rogue Beer Garden ~ the Festival features arts & crafts vendors, as well as commercial exhibitors. This event draws approximately 18,000 visitors over the three days and provides an excellent opportunity for vendors to market goods and support the community at the same time.

The Festival of Balloons in Tigard is accepting applications from craft & commercial exhibitors for the 2018 Festival of Balloons, June 22nd - 24th, 2018 at Cook Park in Tigard. Apply online, or call 503-612-8213.

Would you like to be a food vendor at this year's fun-filled festival?

Although the Festival allows only a handful of major food vendors, we encourage a variety of snack food vendors to apply. We do not allow competing foods, so you will want to register early! All food vendors must be in compliance with Washington County regulations.

To apply, submit the completed online application (see register button below). All form fields are required. (If not applicable, enter N/A) Once your food vendor application is approved, you will be required to provide a copy of proof of insurance. Payment can be mailed to P.O. Box 2401 Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035 or we will email you the link to pay online with a card, a $10 service fee willbe added to these transactions.

Becoming a craft vendor is easy!

Each Craft Vendor will receive a 10 ft X 10 ft space on the field for the entire three-day event scheduled this year for June 22ND- 24th, 2018! 
CRAFT VENDORS = $165 for the three day festival!

Craft Vendors will get a 10' X 10' space on the field (canopy, electricity, and lighting NOT included.) If you need to purchase a standard 110V outlet to access (may be up to 25 feet away from your location). there is an additional $25 fee for electricity.  Keep in mind that the Festival is open until 11pm and vendors are required to stay open until event closes. If the customers can't see your products - they can't buy it. You may also rent additional items if needed such as tables, chairs, banner poles, flooring, etc.(extension cords not available) for an additional small fee. 

Registration is easy - just click on the "register now" button below! 

Once your category and items have been approved you will be emailed payment options. You can either mail a check to P.O. Box 2401 Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035 OR you can pay online for your convenience plus a $10 service fee. A payment link will need to be requested, and we will happily email to you.

Commercial exhibitors are broken down into two categories: Basic or Expanded. 

Basic Commercial Exhibitors are provided a ten foot square tented area with power and lighting for only $500 for the entire 3-day event.

Expanded Commercial Exhibitors is a larger area for larger corporations or those businesses that just require more space or have special needs. Expanded Commercial Exhibitors pricing can vary. A Festival representative can assist you to determine your specific business needs.

Be a Volunteer


Be a Volunteer


The Festival would not be possible without volunteers. 

Volunteers are needed for:

Balloon Launch Duties: Assist pilot to unpack and set up balloon for flight. Navigate or drive during the balloon chase. Contact the landowner for landing permission. Assist pilot during landing and pack up of the balloon. Hours: 5am - 10am Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tether Duties: Assist pilot to unpack and set up balloon. Help passengers in and out of the basket for tethered flights. Assist pilot to pack up the balloon. Assist with crowd control and help passengers sign waivers for the free tethered balloon rides. Hours: 5am - 10am Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Night Glow: Assist pilot to unpack and set up balloon. Assist with holding guide lines attached to the balloon. Assist with holding down the basket. After the Glow, assist pilot to pack up the balloon. Hours: 8pm - 11pm Friday and Saturday.

Night Glow Crowd Control: Monitor the roped off area to keep spectators back from the balloons. Hours: 8am - 11pm Friday and Saturday.

Balloon Crew School - Saturday, June 16th 10am - 12pm - Cook Park: No experience is needed. The Crew School is optional, but very useful for anyone wanting to work with the balloons. You can get on the job training from the pilot. We will have instruction and hands-on demonstrations of duties when crewing for a hot air balloon. Sturdy shoes/boots, long sleeves, long pants and leather gloves are the recommended attire. It is helpful to dress in layers. Snacks and water will be provided.
