The Festival would not be possible without hundreds of great volunteers.
Safety is most important for all our volunteers. In order that we may best assign you, please read the following guidelines. By registering to be a volunteer you agree that you meet these guidelines.
§ Agree to participate on a schedule agreed upon;
§ Physically able to move about freely without aids;
§ Be of a minimum age to participate with parent/guardian in presence
Balloon Crew Volunteers - Must meet the following requirements
§ Agree to the terms of the Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement I will be asked to sign prior to participating as a volunteer
§ Have no physical sight or hearing impairments that would prevent you from receiving, understanding and acting on sight or verbal instructions;
§ Consult your personal physician or have taken whatever steps I deem necessary to determine that I am in good health with no conditions that might limit my participation in ballooning activities.
§ physically fit to be able to assist in arranging and moving equipment including lifting at least 50 pounds;
§ Have attended a Crew training session, or, accepted based on prior experience as approved by the Crew Coordinator;
§ Abide by all rules of safety from the Pilot they crew for, or the Festival Organization.
